It's not going to hurt it being on its side inside where it's cool. Also your kidding yourself if you think that outback will paddle like your pescador. Clean that place up and you will have room for both. LOL!!!! Super nice ride, how much does it weight? I saw in some site it can go up tp 130 lbs when rigged?

Hahaha Joe, no doubt. I'm thinking about standing my couch up on its end and putting the boat where it was. I'll just sit in the yak when I watch TV and eat dinner. Kayak/coffee table hybrid! The boat is not that heavy. I think it's 75 lbs unrigged. I'll tell you what though - that extra 15 lbs over the Pescador is VERY noticeable. I beat my shins and my walls up getting that thing in my apartment. It's too wide to cart into my front door with the way the gate to my porch is positioned, so I had to carry it in by the side handle like I did my Pescador. Definitely need to figure out a better method. Luckily, getting it up on my roof rack is as easy as I imagined it would be. Although, getting it off and getting the scupper cart in it before dropping it all the way down was tricky. One of my less graceful moments yesterday, haha. Just need to practice and get a good system down.

Ok, I was wondering because I have a MadRiver and was a bit concern about loading and unloading from my sedan.I think mine weights around the same 75-80. Previously I had a 12ft Heritage Angler and the weight difference is pretty significant.

It wasn't too bad. I think the type of car you have makes a big difference. SUVs are harder just because it's higher up. I bought a cheap runner rug at Target (like $15) with a rubber bottom and I lay that across the back of my roof. Then I just place the bow of the kayak on that, walk around behind it, and lift it up from the back. Slides right up and I haven't put a single dent or scratch in my car.
Now, I load mine right-side-up since I have Yakima Landshark Cradles. if you load yours upside down, it may not slide up as easily (not sure if anything protrudes from the walls of the yak).

Congrats Bobby! For some reason I knew you would want a mirage drive after using JT's PA at the gulf. Welcome to the hobie brotherhood. Lee
