Ok my bad, wasn't putting u down, just giving my openion. Sorry i misunderstood. A lot of people talk bad about vandam and I just don't get it. Guess in so use to defending him I kinda jumped the gun.

He is obviously a great fisherman and person also.
A good buddy of mine has know him and his family quite awhile. He has nothing but good things to say about the whole clan.
I watched Jason play college basketball when I was at school. Some of the BB players lived on my dorm floor. I remember Jason being on the floor quite a bit.
Glad its an Okie taking names!! LOL. He can fish and he can shoot the rock. Two things I like.

I'm not sure KVD is as hungry for wins as he use to be. Sure he will average good finishes and he will be hungry for a win after extended drought, he will put more into the classic. Newer guys like Christie are hungrier though.

Yes but he can drive any boat he wants and he still chooses a Ranger.... When we start using comments like that he will be among the best anglers.

The guy is simply dominating, Another win yesterday pushes him to five major tour wins in the last 12 months. He is one of only a couple of anglers to win 3 major tour level events in the same season. He is in AOY contention in both tours and I got a gut feeling he might just pull off a Cup win on the Red in a few weeks. Kinda sets up to the way he likes to catch them.
Seems like a great guy and is one hell of a beast of a fisherman. I like the short lining guys anyway so its great that is how he won Grand yesterday. Hope he wins a bunch more. The game needs some new stars. Especially ones that seenm genuinely humble and nice. Interesting article on Bass Zone regarding Jason's first 5 years vs KVD's. It was done by an outside party but cool comparison.

To rewrite most of the records he will have to last 10 more years at least - not a good percentage bet
