Well we are headed to LBJ for my in laws 40th anniversary. I will be taking the boat with us. They are at sunset point RV park so we will launch there for the weekend.
Anyone having any luck up there?
Any tips appreciated. I plan to fish early while the skiers are sleeping! HA!!

The wife and I were out there a few weeks ago and we caught 10 fish in shallow coves off the main lake in 3-5 feet of water using squarebill crankbaits.. LBJ seems to be a good lake for numbers.. The biggest she caught was a 5 pounder.. Looked like a 7 pounder to me but it weighed 5.. She outfished me again.. Good Luck..

Well we did about the same as Airik. Caught about 10 or so with squarebills and TRig plastics off main lake points and rock ledges...
Lake was not all that crowded for the first weekend of summer! LOL
