That time of year. Same old deal. Revenue must be down. I swear someone needs to get the media involved. If its the same retired couple doing it that have done the same thing the last two years someone needs to remove their authority to do so. No excuses for harassing folks. Its why I Always pay by check. That way if they say I did not pay and check still clears I have proof.

I can one up you on that! I got one at Tower Bay on Lewisville. I paid the $10 with my CC, so the machine had my name on file. I also had the receipt that was in SIGHT on my dash. I went to the court the next morning and they weren't allowed to dismiss without a trip to the judge. I just finally paid the $36 fee out of frustration. I told them it was a good trip to the lake, but it wasn't worth a $46 boat launch fee.

Always been a gripe of mine. If its revenue they are after, why not cite guys like this? He has his gear all over the dock!

Well my other buddy that got one just happens to be a cop! For the airport , so think he's getting everything fixed for us! We will see!

I've been good friends with a guy for 10 years that says that saying all the time, "feed em fish heads". He says he has NO idea where it comes from or what it means, but his dad said it all the time.

I'd LOVE to tell him the meaning and origin. I see a reference to Nam. Bruce, OR ANYONE ELSE, can you tell me more about that saying?? And, again, I'm sorry for attempting a hijack.

I saw the D Bag cops there on their 4 wheelers when I was leaving today. I'm not a fan of cops, but I REALLY do not like those guys. I had it out with them one day because they wrote me a ticket because the back of my trailer was hanging over the gravel "sidewalk" at Meadowmere.

+1 - Must be that time of the year. I got one last year at the Vine even though I had paid. Seems like everyone in the parking lot got one that day. It was a pain, but finally got them to drop the ticket after they "found" the envelope. Thanks to advice from the TFF last year(like Mark says), I now pay with a check anytime I have to pay a launch fee.
