Grandson Sam and I fished the white bass tourney there today. We had great fun but didn't place. I had 5 fish that weighed 9.22 lbs, but I believe the winner had a total of 9.86 lbs. Sam and I fished early in the shallows near the dam expecting fish to school. They did but for a short while only. Then we began working deep structures with 24 to 26 fow at drop-offs working best. My biggest fish was 17 inches long and I believe it weighed in at 2.2 lbs. Tournament big fish I think was 2.5 lbs. I had ten fish 16 inches or better. All together Sam and I caught 64: 51 whites, 3 hybrids, 2 drum, 7 keeper yellow bass including one 13 inches long, and a cat. The fried fish w/ffries, hush puppies, baked beans and cold slaw lunch after weigh-in was terrific. Weather was great and it all made for a great day outdoors. Dennis, that was us in the center console next to you at the dam. It was hot and heavy there for a while on the schoolies, but we ended up just like you! Amazing you had a stringer like that and didnt even place! Glad you enjoyed the tournament!

Sound like the fish will be biting on the 18th of June on ole Twok!! Think I'll have to try that day for sure!!!   Just kidding Dennis!! (Dad got a kick out of that one..considering what he done to your RH plaque). Awesome job bringing your fishing techniques to the other area lakes and making it happen  Didn't get a chance to talk to ya Saturday ( the 8th )  but I did get to see ya  Keep up the great work out there......
