Over the years I have used them all on my Spooks. I put KVD's on all my Tweaked Spooks that go out. I use them on this spook down in Mexico where I can catch 25 over 5 lbs. each day. Over the 25 years of testing them down there, less fish have been lost on the Tripple Grips.

I thought Rapala cranks come with VMC hooks?....

I trust Triple Grips and Stingers...

Personally I am not a fan of the triple grip style hook since the points are slightly turned in. I think you will miss fish that slap at the bait.

So you use regular hooks? I have never thought about using anything other than triple grips. usually ill bend them to be slightly of centered from the shank. Have you noticed a change in strike to hooking ratio?

On the #41, do the hooks penetrate very well with the point of the hook curved in like it is? I know they are sharp with the cutting point, just wonder how well they do on crankbaits. I love the cutting point on worm hooks.
