Hey guys, I will be going to Lake Austin tomorrow morning. Have any of you fished on this lake, and/or know where any good spots are? It will be my first time on that lake.

Not unusual to Austin, it seems the main forage on the lake are bluegill, shad, and crawfish. See if you can figure out what's most prominant in the area you're fishing and match it as best you can.

If you're around rocks, I'd throw something crawfish looking (jigs, brush hogs, etc.). A good idea around grass and docks spinnerbaits, stick baits, swim jigs, in shad/blue gill colors.

Just a general rule I use.
