We are planning our fall fishing trips. We have gone to POC the last 2 times and think its a pretty good place. We rent a water front house and bring a boat. We are looking at sargent and would like to hear from others on what they think of sargents rentals ,restaurant and of course the fishing. keep in mind fall fishing

My Aunt and Uncle have a house there. Aside from fishing there is nothing to do. The last time I was there we had to go to Lake Jackson to do anything however that was over 6 years ago. Things may have changed. Doubtful but possible.

My family have a place down on the ICW, and I get down every weekend. Folks are right when they say there is nothing to do. But when I get down there all i want to do is either watch the waves or fish. I don't go down there to do stuff I could do in Katy. Nice area. 2 gas stations that carry mostly anything you will need. Good restaurants. I recommend the Crab Trap on the ICW. I don't know of any guides out there, but the bay is fairly easy to navigate, and if a boat isn't coming with you a ton of people drive down to Mitchell's cut, and fish there. Cheers!
