Lake Arlington is buckling back down, all boats and kayaks are required to have lake permits. $5 a day or $30 for the year.

Thank you, Big Redneck, for spreading the word. The Arlington City Code reads in the Lake Chapter, Article 2, Section 2.01, Bullet A, "No person shall place, operate or keep any watercraft on Lake Arlington without first having obtained a Recreation Permit."
The Lake Office is open Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm and Sat-Sun 1pm - 7pm and is located at Richard Simpson Park, 6300 W. Arkansas Lane. You can also use the self-pay stations at both Richard Simpson Park (Lake Office) and Bowman Springs Park to purchase either a daily or yearly pass. If yearly, we'll mail it to you!
See you on the water!!!

Thats a beautiful park at Arkansas. Got a fishing dock with a long walkway to fish free. The ramp is excellent to launch a kayak and plenty of parking. Is that $30.00 for family?

They need to close the park on the western side of the lake, however. That place is such a trash heap.
Also, I filled out my registration for a year, but my yak has no boat number so I had no idea what to put there.

Yes that shall work, if you have a rough texture yak, the sticker may not stick. She said you can laminate it and keep it on you. WARNING do not HOT laminate it, it will black out the sticker you can't make out what it is afterwards.
