Any crappie in that lake? I have never fished the lake before. Going out to stay on the Silverleaf property for a week and plan to carry a few fishing poles. Guess I am restricted to bank fishing because I will not bring the boat this trip. Any suggestion or thoughts about the lake?
Thanks

I'd take my boat. Fish to be caught, but need to be able to move around...

You can catch them next to the 155 bridge on the kilos side at night pretty good. There's a bunch at lake Palestine resort from the docks too if you can get in there.

Well looks like plans changed after my wife seen how much fishing gear I was bringing. Going to have two extra kids with us so need fishing gear for them. Wife looked at it and said okay bring your boat. So any good crappie holes by boat?

Any of the bridges can be good if you hit it at the right time.
