Any idea what happened.
The patrol boat was towing a boat upside down into Lynn Creek Marina yesterday mid morning?

I WAS FISHING THAT SUNDAY MORNING TOURNEY AND I WAS TOLD THAT HE WAS COMING UNDER THE BRIDGE AND THBOAT TOOK A NOSE DIVE AND TOOK ON WATER.

A gentleman, his wife and their four gandkids in the boat. The grandkids were all in the front of the boat. When he shutdown the boat took a nose dive and turned over. Every one was ok and all were wearing life jackets.

I HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME YEARS AGO,THREE PEOPLE IN THE FRONT OF A DECK TYPE BOAT ,MY BROTHER WAS DRIVING AND HE PUT POWER TO THE MOTOR AND THE BOAT JUST NOSEDIVED TAKING ON WATER.IT HAPPENED SO FAST THAT THERE WAS NO TIME TO REACT.IN 2-3 SECONDS THE BOAT SANK. All I can say is that someone was watching over us that day and there was several fisherman that came to our rescue.IT IS ALL ABOUT WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION AND THE TYPE OF BOAT YOU HAVE.

Wind and waves probably had a little to do with it. I have not seen this happen before, but have heard of it, and see people overload their boats in the front all the time. I was at Lake LBJ for Memorial Day and it's a wonder there was not an incident like this. Game wardens were working hard, mostly enforcing no wake zone and under age on PWC's.

There were some idiots in a ski boat doing that stuff on purpose on eagle mountain today. They were going forward and then slamming it into reverse with 3-4 people up front. Some people have more money than they have sense.

Not sure if this was the same thing but channel 4 news reported: There was a bad accident around 9 p.m. on Saturday. One boat hit two boat tied together. One child age 12 was air lifted to children's med in Dallas. The child's life was saved by his PFD. don't know much more.
