What is they say someday you get the bear and someday the bear gets you. well today the bear got us. The only thing is was a super fun trip with the Follett family.Tex,Tex Jr (david) private joke, and Mrs Follett. Worked my buns off and never found fish real good. Few here and a few there. No good stackes of fish anywhere. My theory was the storm scattered them Good as any theory. All fish caught on ole ugly slabs and flies. Ended up with 73 and they kept 48 for a fry. The trip was really fun and a first for me. All of you people that think I talk a lot you need to meet Tex (seagull) he makes me seem like a amateur.

I fished EM this evening with my buddy. Fished a "regular" spot and caught fish for 3 hours moving no more than 100 yds. Started with 15 ft of fish under the boat, and doubles as fast as you could drop it for about 30-40 minutes, then slowed down to a slow/steady bite for the next couple hours. White/chart & silver chart slabs. Fish were in 19-21 ft deep any deeper and no bite. All fish released, with some bruisers mixed in too

Who knows sounds like they grouped back up in the afternoon. Because they sure were not stacked up at the regular or non regular spots earlier in the day.We caught quite a few but I worked my a-- to get them.

I was so excited I started trying to think of people to call and let them know I found them thick and hungry. they were spitting up large shad... looked like gizzards to me... since all the threads I have seen are small lately

LOL! Awesome trip we really enjoyed your company, the Follett�s are nothing but smiles and still laughing. Poor dad, every time he starts talking smack we just squawk at him, and he talks smack all the time. Not only it was a great trip you gave me lots of good knowledge on how to find the fish and the stories were hilarious. (It brought our family a bit closer) We will cherish this adventure forever, and looking forward fishing with you in the future.
