Looks like they are going to dredge out the reeds just south of the 820 bridge.
They relocated the dredges earlier this week and I noticed this morning that they have moved into the reeds pulling up a bunch in the process.

Looks like they are going to remove the high spots where the reeds are growing. Sad thing since its about the only vegetation that part of the lake has.

Not surprising... Just dig them all up, so the jet skis can get closer to the shore

I think Vince needs to get out there and supervise this situation.

On a serious note I reallty hate to see them taking that habitat out of the lake it would have been really cool if they could have dug out around them and left the humps....

I know it needs it. But when they dredged Lake Nasworthy a few years back it killed the fishing. It never has come back either.
Dredging Worth is going to stir up a lot of toxins from 5 decades of Carswell runoff.

Retirement best job ever.

Dredging and shutting the power plant down combined with the drag boat races killed Nasworthy.

At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!
