2006 dodge ram 3500 5.9 diesel

The dealership wants $102.50 to re-flash my fcm due to low voltage on my left turn/brake on trailer circuit. There is a TSB out on it. Can anyone here do it or work for a dealer

I think what you are referring to is the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module)/ It can in most instances be reset by dealer only is my uunderstanding. It has limited number of resets then must be replaced. Big money!!! I have the 06 also. b

If I'm not fishing or hunting I'm hunting a place to fish or hunt.

you might do a search online. that product is now 6+ years old, there may be a rebuilder in the aftermarket that can reset it. That being said, I would take it to the dealer, fix the guilty trailer, and do a search online for a TIPM saver... There are several for sale that isolate the TIPM from being knocked out again.

Already doing a power module, trailers are not the issue. I know it can be reset but I don't want to pay $102.50 not to guarantee its wont solve the issue. I'd risk it at $50 but $102, get real
