Myself and Mike "USMC_GY" took a trip to the Boerne area and fished both Boerne Lake and the Cibolo Creek. The bite was just about non stop. We caught over 50 fish. Redbreast in the 7 to 9 inch range,Bluegill in the 6 to 8 inch range, Rios in the 7 to 8 inch range, along with a bunch of Bass in the 10 to 13 inch range, and some Longear rounded out the catch. All fish were fat and full of fight. Bottom,drop shot,and float techniques were all used. Worms,jigs, and a small Rapala were the baits of choice. Fish were very active and on the move. The water was clear with a good current. All fish were released to fight again. After a day of super fishing we took a late lunch at Fritze's Bar B.Q. in Boerne. The food was "GREAT". Bar B.Q.,Sweet Tea, and catching fish. It don't get any better.

Side Note: Going to be fishing that area soon. Did you have to pay at the Lake. Also did you hit the area over by the baseball fields. That channel really opens up in that area.

Thanks Curtis and "Featherjig" for the replies. Curtis: We did not have to pay at Boerne Lake. I have had to pay on past times. I guess it all depends on what day you go. I did not make it to the ball diamonds. The fish were super active I only fished the east side of the park.
