1991 Stratos 295 Johnson GT 200 vs. 1990 Ranger 361V Mariner 150, both in my $$ range. Never been in either, hear the ranger is good fishing platform but can be a rough riding boat, hear the older model stratos hulls are great. Any feedback appreciated.

I had a 86 17ft stratos with a 140 Johnson and never had a complaint about the hull. I would go with whatever suits you the best and is in the best condition.

I had a 96 model 295 pro xl and missed it more than any other boat I've owned in the past. Fast hull,great ride,and a very stable fishing platform. It's a bigger boat than the Ranger and I feel you will happier with it in the long run.

Ranger Boat would be the way I would Go Ditto, mine is a 1990 and has a composite transom the Stratos doesn't and there is nothing wrong with the ride in it either.

Their is an early 90`s Cajun 17.5 w/ 115 Evinrude here at A. H. clean has a good 24v Minn Kota clean boat 6K.
