Hey fellows what type line do you use and what strength for bass on Lake Fork? Is 12 lb florocarbon enough? not sure on spelling.. your thoughts please.

Depends on what you are throwing. But 17 flouro is a basic start.

I'd Stay 15lbs &Up ANYWHERE

I would think 20 pound would be good.

I would never forgive myself if a fatty broke off on light line on that lake. Also the line brushes up against timber often or the big girls will run you around it. Just my $.02

Spider Wire - Braid - 60# for heavy cover

You will get more bites on lighter line. 15lb flouro on cranks, 12-20 on t-rigs, braid with 15lb flouro on c-rig and 10-12 on finesse presentations.

More than anything confidence is most important. As Ish said at Falcon. "If you feel it, fish it."

20lb big game for top waters. And 15-20 InvizX will handle the rest.

I pretty well use 15 lb. flouro and 12 lb. big game for everthing on fork, I pretty well shy away from the braid as it seems the fish won't bite it as well.

hey fellows i appreciate the info it`s been years since i was serious about bass fishing and things have changed alot in 20 yrs . i bought several tournament speed spools new 7.1 Omen black 13 rod and 7ft all star classic`s wm rd put Seaguar 10 and 12 lb flourocarbon line.... this is a very good site to get and share information. many thanks

20 lb big game. But I have been broke off at night on bells hump on the hookset... Tried 30lb big game But it was like bailing wire.

12 or 15 lb InvizX is my go to.
