Why are they so high? Just looked at Tackle Warehouse and they are $15.95-16.95. That will make you think twice about where you throw them. Maybe I am just getting cheap.

YM is my "goto" top water bait. My experiences say they will out-perform the Pop-R.
Check them out at Brannan's Bass House - a little cheaper there.
One caution though - keep a close watch on the hooks. They are very sharp, but if they get bent (by a fish or a snag), straightening them will weaken the hook and the straightened one will break --- lost several nice fish because of that. Now I swap out the hooks if they get bent!

Well never used or seen one til this weekend. Brand new Magnum laying on my dock @ Lake Fork . Thanks to the fisherman who lost it for respecting my property could have easily got it back. If u run across this post and can name the creek and describe the dock I will mail it to you. They are a nice bait.

They will absolutely outfish a stock Pop-R 5:1 or more. Plus you never lose a topwater plug unless a big fish takes it away from you. If a big fish takes it away from you, you will run out and buy another one as fast as you can!

They work! This weekend on Fork Mid afternoon seen a cruising bass settle in the shade of leaning log grabbed up the YM. Pithched passed it a few yards. Watched the fish go on point with the first pop brought it closer watched bass drop down a foot and sky up on bait. 4 lber So cool sight fishing a top water plug.
