I caught a rock. Weighed about 4 lbs. The crank bait hook got stuck on an old barnacle. Funny thing is it was 100 miles up the river from the saltwater line.
That was 30 years ago but I kept it for proof.

one morning I was waiting for buddy to come over, so we could hit the lake early. I had the boat hooked up and ready to go. it was around 5 am and pretty dark, I had the garage door open and light was on. but I could not see 10 feet outside the light. I had some loose line on one of my reels so I thought this would be a good time fix it. I put a plastic worm on and made a long cast into the yard next door. I was reeling it in when I felt a tough on the other end. be a fisherman, I set the hook. then Weeeerrr. I set the hook in a cat. that lived next door.

Here's a picture of my PB wine bottle I caught on Falcon. My line got caught in a slit of the metal wrapping around the neck of the bottle.

Goofiest thing was a 10waterdog I caught on Lake Erie Smallmouth fishing in 25 foot of water on a tube jig...felt a tap and set the hook and up it came, I called the fisheries folks thinking I had found the missing link and they said the lake is full of them...

Caught the lid of a 55 gallon drum on a crankbait once. We were fishing in current as well so I really thought it was a fish, peeling drag and wobbling. I was embarrassed because a crowd of people gathered to see what it was

Bream on DT10. Me and a buddy must have caught 5 or 6 one day on Belton. I don't even know how they got the hooks in their mouth but they were spun up. As soon as the crankbait would hit the water, BAM! Bream on!
Also, buddy of mine caught a carp on a DT6 or DT10 on Belton.
I have a Largemouth at home....sometimes she lets me go fishing.

I've caught gar on cranks. And once I caught a huge dead catfish at night on a crank, I thought I had a big bass.

ALOT. I've caught, all on a SPRO frog mind you, squirrel, racoons, nutra rats, seagulls, water turkey, bullfrog, catfish, alligators, white bass and who knows what I'm forgetting.
I can backlash toilet paper.

Saw a huge bullfrog sitting on the edge of the water. Dangled my swim jig in front of it and it jumped out of the water and swallowed it. It was a nice 3 lb frog.

Was crankbait fishing at Choke Canyon and got hung up. Was very windy and lost my extending pole lure retriever and my crank in about 16 ft of water. Was cranking in the same area 3 yrs later with the same brand and color of crank and got hung up. Since I never replaced my lure retriever, I tried to break off but it wouldn't. Thought I was bringing up a bush when I got the surprise as it came to the surface...it was my lure retriever that I lost 3yrs before!!! It has saved many cranks since.
