Had repeat customer Jake Johnson and his Mother in law and His sister in law. Had to work to find fish. Catch 6 or 8 and move 20 yard and catch another few.Did this for three hours and had a pretty good group of fish. Then Kerry and his father in law called and they had found a really good batch of fish on a 22 to 28 ft . ridge.Ended up with 140 on the clicker. All caught on chartuese and white ole uglies slabs and flies. Hero time is over I think. Saw lotz of boats fishing near me and not using their scope. The spawn is over you are probally not going to find acres of fish like it has been the last month. You have to use your scope and get right on top of them. A little harder that the past few trips but a ball. The fish were real nice and they kept a three man limit. Thanks kerry for letting me potlick off you. Johnny

Nice job. Couldn't get away from a baseball tourney all weekend. Will have to settle for a busy Monday on the lake.

Johnny,
Glad to see you out today. Man, the first few hours were indeed "tough" a couple here and a couple there. I saw you moving around quite a bit at first, so knew it was gonna be tough. I'm kicking myself for not checking the ridge earlier, I usually do, but this morning I bypassed it a couple times. My father in law likes to "troll" so being slow as it was I gave in. Only had the trollers out about a hundred yards when the graph filled up, while he was reeling in the trolling poles that were hooked up, I dropped my slab, that's was the end of the trolling. I waited about 15 mins before I called you to make sure it was gonna stay good. We pretty much stayed in that and around that spot until the trolling motor batteries gave up on the pontoon with the wind.
Our fish came on the chartreuse/white and the silver ole ugly also. Color of fly didn't seem to matter with multiple doubles being pulled. Good solid sandies with only a few smalls mixed in. We left them biting, it slowed a little after you left, but picks back up.
As far as you "pot licking" off of me, you've helped more than once out there. You have forgotten more than I will ever learn about EM.

Nice job. Thanks for the latest seasonal report. I figured the hot spawn masses of fish could not last forever.

Nice report. Nice to know paying forward works. I agree with the having to find fish after find fish. I am not sure if it's the trolling motor, me hooting and hollering, the ones I let go telling the buddies to move, or school being thinned BUT they move and we have to find them after being on them. Still learning.
