Given some of the wardens in this area who were hired due to affirmative action, I would not risk having any gear without a license near the water. Some of them are real pinheads and do not have the intelligence of a goat. WOW!

I heard a story about the LOP park rangers years ago. The Husband was sitting on the bank fishing. He had four poles in the water. the wife was setting in the truck reading a book and not fishing. The ranger gave her a ticket for no license. (Probably apocryphal)

What a dumb statement you need to get over it or go back to the hills. What an even dumber statement from you. My comment was not intended to be racists and don't know why you think affirmative action is always race attributed. Nice try at a poke however.

That is kind of a racist statement.
It's a female warden bro. Feel free to PM me. I'll give you the details. You will agree after having the facts.

"Any person who takes or attempts to take fish, mussels, clams, crayfish or other aquatic life in the public waters of Texas must have a current Texas fishing license with the appropriate stamp endorsement."
M'thinks "takes or attempts" is the key words here.

In Texas to be a White Man it is difficult to get to the Game Warden Academy, much easier if you are non white, and or female. That is just the way it is...

Your honor, I rest my equal opportunity/affirmative action case. I request the charge of racism wrongfully attributed or eluded to me in the above aforementioned posts be immediately dismissed with prejudice.

I didn't say it was racist, I said it was dumb and it was. Matter of fact it still is. Ruling overturned!

Freefall, I know what you said. The above post was not directed toward you. Reading is not a good skill for you I know. Please go someplace else and let the adults alone. Since you are now ignored, please run along now and play in the road or the train tracks.

(did your buddy mouth off to the GW?) My question is simply hypothetical, but I'd say that Zeekthe could sure give a teen some real world advice. Boy, this thread really went south!! but to answer your question... Hypothetically, I would say no worries....But, who knows what a particular GW might do at a given time? I personally in 35+ years of hunting and fishing in Texas have never spoke to a Game Warden outside of the P&W office.
