I launch at mustang and always have pucker factor running that lake! Is there parts that aren't safe, I usually head across lake once I clear that point leaving mustang... Maybe it's just the timber in mustang that scares me. Any advice is appreciated.

you SHOULD BE OK AS LONG AS YOU STAY LEFT OF THE TIMBER LEAVING Mustang Point. The area you are referring to is the eastern edge of the clear fork of the Trinity. I have never hit anything as long as you stay 100-200yards west of the Timber.

When the lake gets down 3 or 4 feet, you can see where MOST of the stumps are.
I am going to buy one just to find out for myself. Half y'all lie like hell and the other half are full of chit. www.anglersprotackle.com/store, A great locally owned business www.bcfw.org Bass Club of Fort Worth
