Hey guys just caught wind of a rumor and cant find the evidence anywhere to prove it fake or real. I was told by a guy that TPWD took the size limit off channels and Blues on lake Tawakoni? Fact or Fiction I am planning to head up there this weekend and would kinda like to know Thanks folks!

That would be fiction. There are a lot of guys on here that fish that lake everyday and i am sure they would have heard about it and told us

+1 was fishing fork last saturday and got checked 2x's by game wardens within a 3hr period. I obey the law so I have no worries, but that is a good way to see fishermen thin out fast lol

Hey Larry Can ya catch channels from the bank up there? Could ya catch em better at Holiday or Wind Point Park?

There are plenty of fish above 12� in that lake to be keeping little ones anyway.Most of us throw back the larger fish (over 10-15 pounds) so there will be more for later....I bet if you find a wind blown point at one of those locations with fresh shad you will catch some fish.

I fish tawakoni all the time and that is false. I have talked to alot of people about that cause i herd the same thing but its not true size limts do apply

Someone probably confused twok with palestine. There is no minimum size on catfeesh in lake palestine but you can only have 5 20" and over. Trouble is when fishing for blues can't seem to find many under 20" and I don't eat channels.

Yep if it looks too small then throw it back and don't get caught with a under length fish in the live well.
