I found some good water about 4' deep on the Brazos river but the current is really strong and full of rocks. I been fishing just a slip sinker rig but keep getting hung up. Whats the best way to rig for this situation? Thanks

Try a slip bobber and let it float to an eddy. Let the bait tumble.

This happened to me last time out on the trinity. I would suggest using a bigger weight probably around 4oz with a 3 way rig that way the hook stays off the bottom with the current

I found myself fishing big rivers when I moved up north! Talk about fast water when the snow melted 4-6oz weights or a three way rig with float and a single Colorado blad with 4 beads the strikes are freaking awesome they really hammer it!

Try a slip bobber and let it float to an eddy. Let the bait tumble. +1 the big cats will set in them and wait for the bait fish to come to them. And flatheads don't like strong current. So the eddys small breaks in the water cast up stream of the break and let it roll out I front of them like it would naturally
