Well it's that time of year for my annual trip to Canada for smallmouth and pike but this year I want to catch some on my fly road. I'm sure poppers will work for bass but what is best for pike. I'm thinking large streamers any other suggestions? Or helpful info?

when I went up there I used poppers for pike too, threw big heavy rabbit strip streamers, but the poppers worked just as well, maybe better

They sell some giant streamers for pike, but the medium sized worked better for me. There are some giant 7-8in streamers out there for pike, but I did better with a 3-5in white rabbit hair streamer.
The poppers are more fun. I didn't catch as many on poppers, but they are more fun.
Fishing was invented so man wouldn't get bored between turkey and dove.

I use big streamers and "bunny bugs" or leeches in Northern Manitoba. We are not getting to make a trip this year, but I will be back up that way with my fly rod next year.
