Great idea. Except I believe it is illegal to transport a fish from public water to another public water or private. I believe it's only legal from private to private Bit it sounds like a cool idea. Just keep one as a pet and fees him crappie and white bass Party pooper! lol illegal schmegal!

I like the idea, but compare it to fake boobs. They always say to go a size bigger or you will regret it down the line.

You'd better be raising your own bait fish so it doesn't get expensive real quick!

It does pose the possibility of transferring virus and bacteria to different populations if exposed. Not to mention the up keep cost on electric to run a tank/ pond that size.

Great idea. Except I believe it is illegal to transport a fish from public water to private. It's legal to release them in PRIVATE water ONLY. Believe me I had a long talk with a game warden after some neighbors called him on me for putting fish in a private pond. As long as the fish is harvested by legal means, it can be released into water that is fully private(no public creeks or tributaries connecting).
