How do I go about rotating the head of a Minn Kota TM? The cable running from head of unit to the foot pedal is pointing straight up when in stored position, making it hard for me to secure a cover. I would like to rotate it to where the cable is pointing inwards towards the center of the boat. Any feedback is appreciated.

loosen the clamp that holds the shaft to the mount, rotate the head and shaft to where you want it and retighten.

Some you cannot rotate enough. You have to remove the top cover, loosen the cable tension and while lifting up the gear that the cable raps around move the motor the direction you want, put the gear back on and check. If good re-set tension and re-install top cover.
