Congrats on the purchase! The frontier is a great platform. Are you planning to power it or paddle only?

Well you see I'm a tinker with it kind of guy, I like the idea of paddling but have no experience with it yet so I can't say for sure if I will paddle only. The other thing is when I talked to Mariner they explained that if we register it for powered propulsion thet would reduce the tax from 8,25 down to 6.25 and that the tax would all go to TPWD which in my opinion has a better record of spending my hard earned cash on things I enjoy instead of how the state spends my Tax Dollars, so most likely I will register it for power to keep all my options open.

Just a little clarification...the State of Texas, NOT Mariner Sails sets the tax rates for boat registration. The 2% savings on tax, when purchased, will help offset a part of the additional title and registration fees. I know you will like that Frontier 12. Its still in my "top 5" category because so many have said such great things about them.
Religion is a guy in church thinking about fishing. Relationship is a guy fishing thinking about God!
