Ramp fees are ridiculous...especially when they are as crappy ramps like what Eagle Mountain has. You'd think with all the ramp fees collected someone would say..."hey, maybe we should take this money and improve our ramps?"

Too much to ask I guess.

Ok Its open to bass fishermen 10.00 to launch and if you only have a vehicle no boat it is 5.00. It is a TRWD not a Texas State Park so the state gets no money just TRWD,

Yep, it was opened this past weekend, $10 to launch boat. It is an unmanned pay gate, cash (no change made) or credit. No in / out because exits are also gated and have spike strips. I went out Sunday night, lighted parking and dock was nice.

I used it this weekend. Wow, what an improvement over the other choices on the lake!

This is not true. Just watched a jet ski launch. $5 to park $10 to launch and you can use a credit card

They wouldn't let me in Wednesday around 4:00. The guy on the intercom said it was a private ramp......

I think you went to the wrong ramp the entrance is right by the spillway it's not private and there is nobody working the gate

If your coming from the South, go across the dam / gates and at the four way stop sign, go straight thru the intersection and into the park. If your coming from the East, at the four way stop intersection, turn right into the park.
