Caught this 5 1/4 lb chunk on Bachman the other day. Hopping a black/blue jig right across the lake from where planes land at Love Field. Pretty neat watching 747s fly about 100 feet right above your head! Hadn't heard of anyone fishing this lake so I just thought I would give y'all a heads up if you wanna try something new. BTW, carp are EVERYWHERE in the grass on the banks right now.

Do a search on Bachman Lake on the TFF and you will find lots of info. Lately, I prefer to keep things quite. You got a nice bass there, but that's just a baby there! There's a lot bigger ones in there.

The spot you took the photo at "is" a good area. Try the other side at the end of the runway, Speed Craws and Brush Hogs.

I usually do not make it a habit of agreeing with aggys on ANYTHING. This is one of those occasions. Why do people have to be so full of themslelves when they get a computer screen and an anonymous name in front of them?

The last 747 that landed and left Love Field was Air Force One when the President came in for the dedication of the Bush Museum. My son got it on video both landing and Leaving. Those were 737's mostly, Southwest Airlines flies 737's, and they are the main airline using Love Field.

Rudy U R Absolutely RIGHT but he said 747`s like it was a regular occurence!? NO WAY NO HOW!! Now I can believe the 737`s because I use to have an apartment just N of NW Hwy right in the flight path & it was the cheapest apt I every live in. wonder why(lol)
