I am camping in the "Dog House" and taking the yacks to Lake Mineral Wells State Park May 31st- June 2. Colorado Bend was full. Never been there or fished there. Hear the record was just set at over 14 last week for LMB. Any fishing advice? (Besides use a rod and reel.)

Drift fishing about 4-6 ft from shore past the A frame pretty good also if u plan on using live bait I would pick up a 5 gallon bucket and aerator and get my minnows before hand

I've only fished there once and a storm forced me off the lake after only about an hour of fishing. I caught two small LMB. They were both in the reeds on the east side of the lake in about the middle. The only lure that worked for me was a chartreuse grub.
