Headed out to Galveston this weekend and looking for bay fishing spots. Plan on using live bait and not really targeting a specific fish, just fishing. Thanks for any advice.

Try fishing out of Stingaree on Bolivar Peninsula. Good fishing right out of the marina in the salt flats.

richg is the expert down that way, he gave me some good spots to try when I was down there last year. It was way too windy for the gulf side but great inside the bay.

Can't remember exactly where it was but launched off Sportsmans Road. Lots of bait in the water and caught some trout and reds.
