Go to the dam, sit off it in 12 feet of water and use sonar to figure out the depth to fish...hope this helps and good fishing. Brushpiles if you can find them unoccupied by Mr. Holman and Mr. Speer, are always a good place to fish this time of year. Of course, as a matter of courtesy, you may want to ask them if they mind you fishing their ready made fishing holes. Crappie point is a good place to fish if you are bank bound...fish just above the sunken brush. And last but not least (by any thought) the marina...Just ask elmo what depth, bait, and color they prefer, he is a straight shooter.

Thanks alot. Appreciate the tips. Have lived in Dawson all my life and have been bank bound. Always gone to crappie point or the marina. Finally got a boat. Know anything about the old road that goes across from the boat ramp at Liberty Hill to the boat ramp across the lake?

What do you mean crapicat? I don't even know Mr. Speer to ask him.
