I have a torn rotator cuff and have no interest in fishing this lake. However I promised my neighbor I would fish a tourney with him on Saturday. I've never been on the lake and dont really care about the lake or tournament fishing. If anyone would like to share some hot tips I will return the favor somehow. Feel free to PM me if you like.

Thanks in Advance

Pitching & flipping boat houses is easy on the shoulder. Water is down but the deeper docks still have water under them. Boat houses are always a pattern on Cedar Creek. #1 pattern/structure on that lake especially since they killed the hydrilla years ago(novel idea). Faster moving baits & top waters early around the banks by the docks then plastics/jigs under the docks when the sun gets up. Good luck...cheer up . Cedar Creek ain't that bad. Strong south wind can really affect the main lake.

C-rig on points and breaklines. We also caught a few on A-rigs on windy points. This was on mid-lake to south lake areas.

I got a spot marked on Billy's hummingbird that I caught them on deep cranks 2 years ago during a Basschamps championship. Was good enough for 14th place after day 1 with 4 fish for around 14 lbs. i didn't prefish and it was my first time on the lake. The dam got pounded like falcon when I was there.

Jersey Dan, yall fishing the Cabela's tournament?? If so im signed up to be a camera boat for that. I will be out in a blue and silver BassCat(250SHO). Cedar Creek is a blast to fish. Although it can be a demon at times. As everyone else suggested docks are a great place after the sun gets up. I would cover as much water as possible with topwaters or your fav. early bait looking for actively feeding fish early then try the docks or brush piles on drops.

Good Luck maybe I will see ya out there.
