Yellow Magic or a Rico? And why if any? Just moved from Missouri where the Rico was extremely popular, but it seems in TX, the Yellow Magic trumps.

Don't think you can go wrong either way.

What Cameron said. I can also say that the Don Iovino Splash-it is the same blank with a different pain job. I took all the paint off of one of each and there is no difference I can see visually. Hope this helps.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

I just recieved a R2S Bubble Popper from TW. Anyone ever use one of these? It looks like a pretty good popper. I should get to try it out tomorrow.

Its a knockoff of the Megabass Pop X which is an incredibly good topwater. Have not thrown the R2S model but the Megabass has turned my no topwater catchyng self into a decent one lately. There is something special about it that fish seem to key on. With their push into the U. S. market they are priced comparably to a YM.

Bubble walker is a better bait IMO. You can fish it like a popper or walk it. Killed then on it at big blue

You better check the lip angles- there is a difference as well in the size and weight- the angle is different as they showed on the Bass Pro shop weekly feature- the only true pop -r ,the one that was used to make Clunn famous as well as Roland on the top water is the RICO - not saying it's beter than the Yellow magic but it is made different and all this was explained a few weeks ago by Clunn on the Bass pro shop show even to the different amount that the slant degree in the lips were different ,showing how it makes the sounds produced from them different also
