Hello guys and gals,

I am thinking of having a trip over to the states, will my UK flies work?

I'm no trout expert but I imagine that they ought to do fine. Where in the States were you planning on going?

FF I'm a UK native now in Tx where this forum is based, and yes those paterns will work,but as in any new venue a visit to a local flyshop will pay big dividends, you'll find prices here far more reasonable than the UK.

Thanks Guys,

I'll be sure to add some cheese in future.

The company I work for have got offices all over the US, so I was thinking of trying to 'arrange' a bit of a tour and throw my fishing gear is as well. Its some way off yet, but would be good if I can pull it off...
