Like I said, just got a text from my friends today with this pic and weight.

I could care less who caught or what it weighed, I just thought I'd share.

Nice first post from yourself by the way...welcome aboard.

99.979857453210789 lbs. exactly. I determined this exact weight by combining scientfic methods and hillbilly voodoo, using an algorythmn to determine the exact size of the fish based on moon shadow, water displacement, and the ratio of pupil width of the spectators looking at the scale. Eyewitness can be wrong, my methods are science!

Rod an reel record is 98.5 , trot line is like 114 or something , so it broke both if it really weighed 127 ,

I just wanna know if it was on rod an reel or not

I heard it was caught below Lake worth dam and had an undigested diver in its stomach.

i got no problem stepping up and saying i was wrong. now that i look at the pic a little better - i could see it - with the direct lighting and shadows. i was "mommy distracted" so i blame the babies for the 100+ lb guestimate.

If it was caught off hwy 47, then I guessing it came from the Brazos River.

Nice yella regardless of the weight.

I've been wrong before...just cant remember when! popcorn2 All kidding aside...I wasn't trying to take away from the catch, I could just tell it wasn't a 127lb fish! 76 is still a monster! Congrats again....

Ya it was caught in the brazos btwn hwy 21 and hwy 60. They were fishing just up river from where my team was. We caught a 40 and thought that was big until we went to the weigh and saw the 76

No where close to 100 lbs. I was in the boat when an 86lb yellow was pulled on board and that fish was bigger than the one pictured. For sure.
