i got a reel back in march ( a high end reel) i was out fishing the other day reeling in my lure and i could hear a noise, sounded like a little piece of metal bouncing around....just curious if i should call the manufacturer or what....i made a few cast after, and the reel is still functional, as far as i can tell but i know something isnt right on the inside, and i am too leery about taking it apart

Definitely call the manufacturer. You spent your hard earned money on their product. But you want to get this taken care of while under warranty. Even if it is working now that next toss while you got the catch of a lifetime it could fail.

i just sent a message to abu....ive heard nothing but good things about them taking care of customers so hopefully i wont be the exception lol

Looking at the real face up can you tell which side it is coming from?

No Max in this abu....and it sounds like it's coming from the left side of the reel (right retrieve)
