well u are correct, never heard or seen anyone interpret the rule this way. But I also agree if it is written this way oh well.

How much did y'all weigh in without that third fish? Not sure you guys would of beat us with that third one any way...lol jk I assume you were on Granbury because the guy told us he turned down three total fish for not being long enough. I always measure our fish and move the tail. If it touches it is long enough. But our smallest fish was 17in. We need to talk about that next week and clear that up. (If it was Granbury)

Pinch tail and swipe up and down is how I've always done it. I've seen some guys working the boards over the years who refuse to believe that's how it's supposed to be done.

You aren't going to win an argument here because in the end its a judgment call on TD's part.......that being said, if that's the way it is pretty sure there would be no "next week" for me at that tournament.Way too many tournaments to put up with getting brother in lawed.

I took a screen shot of TP&W guidelines on how to measure a fish and keep it on my phone now. Not sure if it will officially work if needed some day but I keep it just in case.

State law says pinch tail, at the legend tournament they pinch and fan like everyone says its all up to what the rules says. They can be stricter that state law but they cant be less strict.

He obviously does not know the rules. That was a legal fish if it touched 16 in any way.
