By the way I have an Elite 7 dsi on my bow, and a HDS Touch 7 gen2 LSS 2 on my console.

Angus, don't get rid of those St Croix rods. I use mine every trip and they are really good sticks.
Nothing wrong with Humminbird's I just like to try different stuff.

I agree Ernest, I've had the priveledge to run both and both are good. That being said my next graph will be a hds 12 as of right now. It's hard to pull the trigger on $3000 when my hummingbird does the job though. Ill probably wait till I buy my next boat. Which will probably be soon. I feel the need for another 24ft skeeter. I hear there giving them away now. NOT Heck Chuck, if'n I was a man of your means I'd just replace all four plus one for the new boat too!! I bet David would make you a special deal on 5 HDS 12 Gen 2 Touch units for somewhere around $15,000!!!!! Pocket change for you!!! Plus, I'm thinking you could get Ernest and Guy and maybe a couple of other guys to help out and get a real deal on a dozen of 'em????? Might even get ole Jigum to join in? Naw he's too cheap! $14,999.00

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Dang, David, I missed it by a buck! I'm sure Chuck will be there today with the cash! And from all the posts about DW having lots of money, maybe he'll jump in and get one at that great price??? I hear he has enough to burn a wet mule!!!!
PS: after badmouthing the Elite 7, yesterday I installed the latest software upgrade and it solved all my problems with the unit....have to say I love it now!

I'm always working even when I'm asleep. Got to, to keep the wolf away you know. I ain't got your kinda money. Heck if I had your money I'd throw mine away. I'm with you Bobby, I'm still using pro-anglers that are 8 years old. It's one thing to have more money, it's another thing to have Moore money. Ha Says the guy who just got a new boat
