Just bought a new rod and reel this weekend and decided to go try it out. Went fishing at a pond at riverchase golf course and caught two of my best. I wish I had my scale so I could know what my new best was. Had a blast catching them though.

Thanks. Im still pretty new to bass fishing. It's a whole different ball game from catching red fish and trout back in louisiana. Lots to learn when it comes to catching bass. This site has helped alot.

Good job and I agree with Carrot Stix, somewhere around the 4 lb range! Good and relatively inexpensive scale.

Nice bass! Id say mid 4 maybe 5 on those. Thats a great way to break in the new rod.
