unless humans can start doing like superman and go into invisible mode, people will still see you fishing the condos, so even these type condos will eventually be found. Sometimes when I see people build thses types of condos, I feel like, they are trying to be slick, and what its doing is scattering the fish, because these type piles arent going to hold large numbers of fish. Also, what happens when the builders of the piles no longer fish them for whatever reason. These pvc piles can last decades and decades. The flip side though is, if nobody can find and catch these fish that live on these condos later on, it will ensure at least some fish will survive and grow big. I guess then what will happen is everyone will resort to trolling, just cruise around until u hit something then stop and fish it. Theres a lake that I know of that has so much stuff along one bank, nobody even marks stuff on that side anymore, because every 20 feet theres a personal pile. Its ridiculous.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I agree Ernest, I've had the priveledge to run both and both are good. That being said my next graph will be a hds 12 as of right now. It's hard to pull the trigger on $3000 when my hummingbird does the job though. Ill probably wait till I buy my next boat. Which will probably be soon. I feel the need for another 24ft skeeter. I hear there giving them away now. NOT

I have the HDS-10 gen2 and the Humminbird 1198. Both do a good job. If I could only have one it would be the Lowrance.

I bet David would make you a special deal on 5 HDS 12 Gen 2 Touch units for somewhere around $15,000!!!!! Pocket change for you!!! Plus, I'm thinking you could get Ernest and Guy and maybe a couple of other guys to help out and get a real deal on a dozen of 'em????? Might even get ole Jigum to join in? Naw he's too cheap!

I like them both. That's why I have both the 1197 and HDS10 on my boat. Each does what it was designed to do best, better than the other (make sense?). I spent several years with the 1197 and am totally comfortable with how it works. Now I'm on a crash course to learn the HDS10 and so far, it really doesn't seem all that complicated. So again, I have to agree with Ernest ; I didn't switch...I just added

Ernest, Good stuff thanks for the post. Here we go again. 4-5 years ago Ernest pointed me to St. Croix rods, I get outfitted with 4 setup and then Guy move to Dobbins rods away from St.Croix. I get outfitted with 2 898 on my boat and now I gotta move to Lowrance (just kidding). Our sport is is like all others we can't keep up with the latest technology or gear. My 898's put me on fish and the St.Croix's set the hook, I'm staying with what I have. See ya on the water!

I'm with you Bobby, I'm still using pro-anglers that are 8 years old. It's one thing to have more money, it's another thing to have Moore money. Ha
