I am headed to Fork with my Fiancee this weekend and would like to put her on some fish but, I havent been on the lake in a while. I know quite a few spots around the lake but would like to see if someone could give me a little better info about where some fish are being caught so I dont spend the whole weekend running all over. i.e. North or south, east or west fork. I dont need your way points but with a couple of cove name I think I can figure it out. Thanks in advance for any help.

Get out early right at dawn and hit main lake points with top water...bite has been good til around 930 or so... I would then fish secondary points that are a little deeper with a drop shot.

Bite was extremely tough for us and most we saw or talked to. You can get bit but you gotta move around a lot. Pretty well from 1' to 25' on about any bait or technique. Not as many bedders left and that top water bite is very spotty. Late in evening was our best bite on top waters. I used a Megabass Pop X in white python and Chris used a YM in alewife. We had best bit between 154 and 515 west bridges. Just had 5 days on water out here. Had a blast and wish I was out there still but again it might be a grind to get bit. Just have fun and keep a bait wet.

Fish it slow. We found them next to stumps 1 1/2 to 6' off secondary points. Black worm or baby brush hog (watermellon red) or as I am always told, there biting north of the dam!

Square bill 1.5 in a shad color try and hit the bank with it. Bird island early then work any points the wind is blowing on . If you see more than 2 Birds sitting on a bank go over and make them mad cause there like a Bass with feathers.

Fished the legend this weekend and had birds trying to get my ym. Wonder what they would have thought about me bringing one of them to weighin. Other wise was a tough bite.
