6.6 mh for close quarters, stumps, docks, rip rap. 7.2 for long casts and fan casting points and into pockets.

The KLX series fishes like much more expensive rods. I really like the backbone/tip response.

Dobyns 7' medium action is what I use and love it. Can't go wrong with a duckett either!

MHX 6'9" spinnerbait blank, by far my favorite rod. Amazing tip for spinnerbaits, flukes, and topwaters

Abu Garcia Veritas 7' Med micro guide. But don't let the "medium" fool you. It's has a great tip and stiffer backbone than most mediums and trust me, my hook set ratio has skyrocketed - it's wonderful!. Also, I personally haven't used any of the Rods mentioned above but they all have great reputations from the feedback I hear.

Castaway makes 2 different spinnerbait rods. Both are 6'10" and have a nice soft tip for quick snap/roll casts and are short enough for close quarters casting. The Skeleton has the cut away split grip handle and is lighter and the Go2 has the full cork handle for us "old school" folks.

7ft heavy with 65lb braid. Or 6-6 or 7ft medium with 15-20lb mono.
