These hats are supposed to be the real deal. For example the hat Rick Clunn wears is Nitro quality, this hat is supposed to be Ranger quality. Anyone use them?

I have Colombia pfg long bill hat with drape in the back. It's light super cool in the heat and the long bill reduces glare for my glasses. The clip in the back will keep it attached to you in falcon wind and it is functional. If you like the hat and is functional go for it. Mine looks real goofy and my gf hates it but If it keeps me from getting sunspots burned of frozen off I don't care what it looks like if its comfortable.

These hats are supposed to be the real deal. For example the hat Rick Clunn wears is Nitro quality, this hat is supposed to be Ranger quality. Anyone use them? My first point is that you're not at my sister's house, as I don't have a sister. My second point is that being bald on top means that my noggin will get seriously baked if I don't ware a hat or a cap. As for the Tilley hats, I've never had one but I have looked at them, and they do seem to be well made. As to what hat or cap you get for your outdoor ware that is really a decision that you alone can make. My final point is that clothing is about protection, compfort and lastly style IMO. FWIW, TFP
Above all else hold these two things in the greatest of circumspection; government and self. YOLO=Schiefspiegler

Tilleys hats are the best. I got one last year and like it so much I'm getting a different color one when I get back to Cabelas. They fit loose on my head and don't leave a hat ring on my forehead. The brim blows up when I run WOT, so I hold it in my hand when I go fast.

Tilley hats are really good hats. I literally wore one out and sent it back to Tilley. They replaced the hat. Hat for hat, there was no charge. For my replacement, I got the one that included insect repellent. There was a small fee for this particular hat; however, it was in no way close to the original price. These hats are definitely worth the money. Additionally, the guarantee is the real deal. If this one wears out, I will send it back for another.

I bought one of those way too expensive hats in Vegas. Now I got no idea how I would live without it. I love mine and it was worth every penny.
