OP PSquared Outdoorsman Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 81 Weatherford, Texas	Typically, do you have to replace the leads from the charger to the batteries, or can you just replace the charging unit? Any help/tights would be appreciated.

Any help/tights would be appreciated. The better, and especially the higher amp on board chargers use temp sensing in the leads to prevent damage (overheating) the battery. So they use leads that have to be compatible with the specific charger model. Good idea to replace and just use the leads that came with the new charger no matter the type as they are surely getting aged and insulation can possibly crack.
