My wife and I are looking to get away with the 2 kids this weekend. Being new to the area, we just came across the idea of spending the weekend near Broken Bow lake, Lower Mountain Fork river. All the cabins are booked up and we'd prefer that over a hotel.

Anyone know someone who has a clean, available cabin near the area? I'm looking to spend less than $150/night Fri night until Monday noon. We don't smoke, no pets, and my wife is an interior designer so she knows how to take care of a home! you can email me directly at curtisheyman at gmail dot com

Curbo-

There are cabins located in Hochatown at the north entrance (Hwy 259A) that are close. We usually stay at Fox Run Cabins which is about $119/night, depending on the season. They do a great job, the cabins are well stocked to cook your own meals, beds are comfortable, hot showers, Jacuzzi hot tubs, cable TV, etc. Just google Fox Run Cabins. We've stayed there at least 5 or 6 times recently.

I like the cabins in the park, I'm sure they're booked.

Have also stayed at the Whipoorwill Cabins once, they were decent.

Tried these?

Getting a cabin to rent for Memorial Day weekend may be a tough proposition now. Do you have access to an RV or camping equipment? That might be your only option at this point. Beavers Bend is always crowded on holiday weekends.

i think we're going to go another weekend. We were really hoping for a cabin and none of the 700 are available!

I stayed in a rent cabin called tatonka one time. You can find it online it's right across from 259 loop where it comes out on the spillway side close to hotchatown. It would be perfect for a family the size of yours and ha a hot rub on the back porch for you and the miss. Five min from trout and very reasonable.
