Good morning all,
My name is David andd i just got started on this ( i can already tell adicting new endevour ). I will be Fishing ( mainly Hubbard ) since i live right next to it, Hunting and Rec riding from a Yak. Right now i am just using a Pelican 10' sit inside, Got it cheap and wanted to get an inexpensive Yak to start with but i will more than likely be adding a Pescadore or Nucanoe 12' for hunting and Bay trips. I tried to get on Hubbard 5-19-13 for the Maiden Voyage but thought better of it due to the highwinds and put in Rowlett creek at Miller Rd. I can tell that the small sit inside Yak for a 6' 200# guy will be primarily Creek and a Cove boat only for me, But i am HOOKED.
Didnt get her slimed the first trip out.

Welcome to the plastic navy, Low! I've been paddling various things for over 30 years, and it's a special experience. I'm new to this forum, but I think you'll find the crowd here knowledgeable and encouraging in a way that will further improve your experience (while possibly hurting your bank account... I see all the neat rigging/upgrading these folks do, and I'm compelled to do more).

Thanks everyone, i appreciate the welcomes from all. i can see that i will be on here a lot, haha. if anyone ever needs a 2nd for fishing i would be more than happy to tag along and learn some things.
