Looking for good lake around Houstion in summer time , any reconditions ?

I would "recondition" another city, or another hobby. Summer in Houston as a bass fisherman is horrible.

Lake Houston, put boat in around 6pm off the water at dark. Same with conroe, that is the best time of day. Winds are blowin and it starts coolin off! Fish will be hungry too lol..

Conroe at dusk can be awesome.

Find a large flat or hump thats maybe 5-10 feet deep with steep drop offs and fish the side that is wind blown.
