I'm going to South Padre Island next weekend for 4 days and wondering were are good places to fish. I heard the Rock Jetty but was wondering if anyone else could tell me some great spots to take the family?

There is a pier to fish from on the mainland in Port Isabel.

There are some wade in areas off of Padre. It can be hit or miss though. Heck if I was taking a family of young kids i'd find somewhere they could fish in the lights at night for a little while. The other activity would be crabbin... both are great action for kids.
